Eastern Avenue

Verge is crash-landing on the uni’s main thoroughfare. Eastern Avenue is being taken over by ten shipping containers, each controlled by an artist or group of artists for the duration of the festival and transformed into the biggest works of art the university has ever seen. Lock up your galleries and hide your canvases because here’s art that’s taken to the streets, art you can’t ignore, born of passion, excitement and a liberal sprinkle of madness.

While you’re checking out the art be sure to make it out of your lectures in time for Funch (Fun @ Lunch), our daily program of events. Come up to the shipping containers for pony rides (Wednesday is Pony Day), circus performances, tarp surfing and live music. It’s free fun for fun’s sake, because that’s how you deserve it.
