1. Major Raiser & Verge Opening
Our opening gambit (party) is going to be awesome. Come see the new look of the Verge Tent, the amazing art it contains and the hottest not-for-profit in town, Major Raiser, at work. On the night you’ll see Rapids, Only The Sea Slugs, Boats of Berlin, Louis London and Polar Knights, in addition to whatever awesome stuff Major Raiser can cook up! All ticket sales go to Major Raiser.

2. The Best Damn Comedy Night Ever
Featuring performers drawn from Project 52, the Sydney Fringe Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and international comedy galas that are too numerous to count, your belly laughs here will burn a whole week’s worth of calories and leave you hungry for more comedy (also more calories) as we go on. Canadian superstar Jon Dore (years-long host of Canadian Idol, star of The Jon Dore Television Show, first standup guest invited on Conan) and Australian comedy legend Greg Fleet (Triple M, The Footy Show, Thai Die) bring the night to a close, ensuring you leave with a smile on your face and smiles on your mind: with guaranteed world-class talent and performances right on your doorstep, you’ll be spewing if you miss out.

3. Expecto Patrivia
The movies are done, Ron’s fat, but the boy who lived is still alive in our hearts The biggest Potter nerds available have taken over resident Hogwarts-a-like, The Great Hall to deliver the ultimate trivia experience, accessible to everyone from the most unlearned muggle to the most learned whatever isn’t a muggle in that universe. Potter-themed trivia, the biggest prizes of any uni trivia competition yet and, of course, it doesn’t finish until you catch the snitch: what more could you want?

4. Laser Party

5. Manning’s Birthday!
